RV042 - Multiple WAN IP redirection

Hi,

I've a RV042 router connected to my ISP with a set of public IP (subnet 255.255.255.248).

I've configured one-to-one NAT (may be i should not ?).

What i want to do is quite simple:

For my public IP 212.x.x.1 i want to forward port http 80 towards port http 80 on my lan server 192.168.1.1

For my public IP 212.x.x.2 i want to forward port http 80 towards port http 80 on my lan server 192.168.1.2

But i could also need to redirect port 21 of 212.x.x.2 towards 192.168.1.1

So everything going to 212.x.x.1 should not go on lan server 192.168.1.1, it's a case by case basis, to be decided port by port.

I don't see how to do this with RV042. I can create redirection rules, but don't see any field "Destination IP" where i could mention different rules for the same port but different public IP.

Any idea ?

Hi Bert,

Unfortunately this RV042 will not provide the solution you are trying to accomplish.

The only series of router/firewalls in the SME lineup that will are the SA500 series of devices with IP Alias enabled.  Then you can create the firewall rule with a source and destination NAT.

The RV082 is only going to look at port forwarding rules on the WAN, there is no way to configured the source of the NAT'd IP address.

You do have multiple external IP addresses to make it work, and 1-to-1 NAT is the way to go. If you map your LAN IP to an external IP, the router will forward all packets destined to the external IP to the mapped internal IP. You could further restrict the traffic by Firewall Access Rules.
