RV042 to Cisco 2811 Site to Site VPN

Hi there,

we want to setup a RV042 router to Cisco 2811 router with two ISP connections.

My Question is GRE tunnel is feasible for such a setup?

If not on RV042 the backup vpn tunnel is straight forward how it will be setup ...

What about 2811 IOS setup?

Thank you for reaching the Small Business Support Community.

On the RV042 you have a few VPN setup configuration options; Gateway to Gateway VPN, remote access or Client Gateway VPN and PPTP Server VPN, if you would like to know how to go about the configuration steps I suggest you to look a the chapter 9 of the admin guide;

For configuration options and guidelines on the 2811, I suggest you to inquire about it on the"WAN, Routing and Switching" support forum since it is not considered a Small Business device but an Enterprise one running Cisco IOS;
