RV042G Dual WAN IP Filtering

I have a Cisco RV042 setup with Dual WAN Load Balance.

I am wondering if there is some way I could limit certain computers (IP Addresses) to only use one WAN (either WAN1 or WAN2).

I am having a few problems logging in and using CPanel services.

I am continuing being logged out and because of two IP addresses being used for logging etc.

I hope someone has had this issue or someone knows how to fix this.

Thankyou any help will be appreciated

Hello sebjavierw,

You should be able to use the Protocol Binding feature of the RV042 to accomplish your goal.  Go to System Management > Dual WAN > WAN1 Configuration > Protocol Binding to specify which IP source and destination addresses use each WAN interface.

Hi

Thankyou for your help in replying.

I'm sorry but I forgot to mention that my router is the RV042G.

I have looked for the Protocol Binding option but I cannot seem to find it anywhere. I am assuming that it is not available for the RV042G.

Is there anyway I can achieve the same goal through Firewall Access Rules?

Thankyou

sebjavierw,

The RV042G has the same feature set as the RV042. Protocol Binding can be found under Load Balancing.
