Single port forwards also fail periodically and require a router reboot. Internal network functionality is not affected; grc.com scans show the ports reporting inconsistent status as either closed or stealth once the router becomes unstable.
Programming the router with or without the wizard for initial configuration has no effect on this behavior, which I have confirmed at multiple sites with both simple and more complex configurations.
