I'm currently using DynDNS for my Dynamic DNS Provider with the RVS4000, but I'm looking at upgrading to the RV180 and switching my Dynamic DNS provider over to DNS Made Easy since I can get all my DNS hosting under one roof. Does the RV180 support DNS Made Easy in its Dynamic DNS client? If not, could it be added in a firmware update? More information about DNS Made Easy's Dynamic DNS can be found here:

Thanks!

Nathan,
the RV180 does not run IOS it is a GUI based platform. Regarding dynamic wan addressing, the router only supports DynDNS, TZO, and 3322 accounts. Hope this helps.

Got this from them. Does the RV180 run IOS?
Yes, we have a number of clients using Cisco IOS DDNS implementation with our service. Cisco has documentation on using IOS DDNS here: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_3/12_3y/12_3ya8/gt_ddns.html
Our DDNS specifications information is available here: http://www.dnsmadeeasy.com/services/dynamic-dns/
As long as you use the correct fields with Cisco IOS DDNS implementation per our documentation, any IOS device can update DNS Made Easy DDNS records. Please let us know if you have additional questions.

Thanks for the info! Think you can ever add DNS Made Easy in a future firmware update? Thanks!
