RV320 fail to connect WAN periodically after upgrading firmware

After upgrading the firmware to version v1.2.1.13, the router RV320 has periodically failed to connect with WAN with the following error found in the log:

2015-07-28, 13:42:18Network LogNSD FAIL WAN[1]

 

It could reconnect after several seconds. But the same problem repeats periodically:

Could anyone could advise how to solve the problem?

    Same problem here. The RV325 is at a clients address. This one is often lossing connection on the WAN1 (WAN2 not connected) 

    It seems to start with a Kernel message; Init Mode….. Which I assume is a restart

    I found this threat: https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/12548706/rv325-wan-connectivity-issue-fw-12113

    So next time we're at the clients location, we will perform a full reset and start all over again

     

    2 other RV325 at other locations have no problems, but are on firmware v1.1.1.06

    As mentioned already, it is recommended to take note of what settings you are using (I usually get screenshots) and factory reset/manually reconfigure the router after upgrading to the newest firmware. Short of this, the settings for Network Service Detection are in System Management > Dual WAN > WAN (whichever WAN you are using) > edit. I recommend using remote host and 8.8.8.8 in case your default gateway stops responding to the pings and declares the WAN port dead. You can also choose to disable NSD altogether here (not recommended if you're using both WAN ports for failover).

     

    If you've tried both of these, I'd recommend calling in at 1-866-606-1866 and opening up a case.

    Thnx for your answer.

    This morning we made a call to Cisco and your collegae was very helpfull 

    There where some items changed (like disabling bonjour, changing MTU)

    Also disabled the NSD, since we're only using 1 WAN at this site, and we did a factory reset (off course;)

    Not sure if all is good now, but will let this post know in a few weeks
