Hello All,
I am new here and far from top-level IT. If my question been answered, please point me. I could not find it.
I have RV325 and would like to open access to one machine from outside using RDP. For higher security, I would like to limit access from limited number of external IP. So,
If I am just forward port 3389 in the Setup-Forwarding- (3389 to 192.168.1.xxx) everything looks good, I can access from a remote computer.
If I disable port forwarding and add Access Rules
Enable-yes, Action-Allow, Source interface-WAN1, Source - Any(for now any, later will limit to certain IP), Destination -192.168.1.xxx~192.168.1.xxx. I cannot access from a remote computer.
Please help, I guess I am missing something. Spent a lot of time googling, no luck
If I would like to have access from more than single IP, should I create an identical rule(s) and specify each IP in each rule or there is a smarter way.
Thank you

Hi
If someone is interested, I figured it out
I had to enable forwarding in Setup-Forwarding
Next, in access rules, setup Deny rule from all IP
Next, Setup Allow rule with enabling specific WAN IP and give higher Priority than Deny rule
So, this way port 3389 is open for specific IP only
