Hi,
We have a RV325 router using PPTP VPN in our main office. It has been working fine for the last 6 months or so; however, now the VPN stops working after a day or so until I reboot the modem. I need to keep rebooting the modem every day to get the VPN to work. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this problem. Thanks.

check any new version and if possible upgrade to latest Firmware.

Im not sure what's going on, I "would" recommend resetting, however, I think you need to have technical assistance do some more troubleshooting before you do...

I have one too. It started as yours by losing VPN connectivity.
After a while (a week or so) rebooting stopped restoring VPN functionality. Then lost WAN connectivity and now it's a brick.
I tried all the soft and hard resets , I tried reflashing with old or new firmware, it's a BRICK. won't take new firmware.
I am struggling to find warranty support, but CISO hid that very well.
the label on my router says model "RV325-K9 V04" which seems not to be in CISCO inventory, so an alien product.

Hi, the routers come with lifetime warranty. You can contact Cisco support by phone and provide the serial number.
They can check if it is a legit product.

I suggest to call Cisco support. You might be able to assign PPTP to a high QoS on the WAN Port to prioritise PPTP over other traffic. You might need to check link and CPU utilization, turn logs on.

packet from (xxxxx): [Tunnel Authorize Fail] no connection has been authorized with policy=PSK
The "xxxxx" is the public IP, i just omitted it.
