I have a fully functional IPSec Client to Site VPN set up on the RV340 fw 1.0.03.17 using IKEv1, shared secret, extended authentication, and the ShrewSoft software (same setup as documented for the RV160/260). My client just informed me that he has some employees that will be using MacBooks (latest version) to connect. During the discussion he resisted TheGreenBow because they only distribute their Mac software through iTunes. I also have been told that the new Macs only support IKEv2. Toward that end, I have tried configuring an IKEv2 tunnel for use by the PC as a test, and cannot get a connection using ShrewSoft (even though the vast majority of the settings are identical for both IKEv1 and IKEv2). So, my questions are: (1) can an IKEv2 tunnel be set up to support both PC's (Windows 10 Pro, latest build) and MacBooks / MacIntosh systems without using TheGreenBow software; (2) would a better solution be to obtain the Cisco AnyConnect software for both clients?
