Hi,

You may try the following steps, if that helps…

  • Once you login to the RV340 router via the default IP, navigate to LAN >> VLAN Settings.
  • Select the VLAN ID 1 and click on the Edit button.
  • On the ‘IPv4 Address’ field, enter the new IP and subnet mask information you want to assign. DHCP start and end range should populate automatically as DHCP server option is enabled on VLAN 1 by default. So, you can keep the server option enable and click on the ‘Apply’ button.
  • Either disconnect and reconnect your PC/Laptop LAN interface from the RV340 Router LAN port mapped with VLAN 1 OR disable and enable your PC/Laptop LAN interface connected to RV340 Router LAN.
  • Now your PC/Laptop LAN interface supposed to get the new DHCP IP from the RV340 Router (please make sure the PC/Laptop LAN interface is configured with ‘Obtain an IP address automatically option.
  • At this point you will be able to ping the new IP you have just assigned on the RV340 Router VLAN 1 interface; if that works then I hope you will be able to access the RV340 router via that new IP using web browser.

 These are absolutely Correct Steps.

And as correctly mentioned, once the ipaddress is changed to new subnet...the PC from where you have accessed the GUI should also get a new ipaddress from the dhcp-server running on vlan1 of RV340....and then you can go ahead and re-connect to the GUI with the new ipaddr

Additionally the user may also clear the browser cache to re-open the GUI using the new ipaddress of the RV340-vlan1-interface.
