I did a config backup.
I downloaded 1.0.0.3.26 and did the update (without reset to factory checked).
When completed, the webgui login page was corrupt. It had spinning icon beside what should be the login button. see pic.
I tried old logins, but i dont even think the login button is working on login page.
I hard reset the router back to factory defaults.
I can tell this happened as config on LAN1 port changed back to factory defaults (dhcp in 192.168.1.1/24 range was re-enabled).
But i still get corrupted webui on login page.
I can't login in with factory default cisco/cisco.
Is there something i can do with the consoles port? Or is this a brick?

- Reboot device with console connected . look for errors during boot. Check this thread on advisories related to console settings : https://community.cisco.com/t5/small-business-routers/cisco-rv345-console-connection/td-p/3063797

Yes i looked at that post before posting my request.
I dont see any solution, or that either poster asking was able to use the console.
What am i missing?
I connect at 115200-8N1 and get this boot info. But the is not prompt. Hit enter or any kit/combo, does not get a prompt or login.

The one post discussed baud changes. What baud do in need to get a login prompt that works?

I also tried connecting at 9600 and 19200. Lots of jibberish. Seemingly no change in baud. No prompt appears. Hitting keys also gets no prompt.

Hm, I also saw : in your original reply (boot sequence)

Not sure about the baud rates , I don't use such a device myself I more think the device got bricked (Nand flash memory storage problem) you may want to have this escalated https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/web/tsd-cisco-small-business-support-center- contacts.html , the device may need replacement (RMA)

The correct baud rate for RV340 is 115200-8N1.
Console port is only active during boot.
You need the power on the router with the console connected and send multiple breaks immediately after you power on the device.
We had this problem with 1.0.03.24
The break will result in booting the router with an older version firmware.
After this you need to update to 1.0.03.27.
