Hi,
Can someone please tell me if this combination is possible? So far I have not been able to create the tunnel effectively.
Please let me know if you require further information or configs.
Thanks
Matt

Matt,
IPSEC VPN Tunnel-- The main thing is looking at both sides and making sure everything is the same on both sides of the tunnel. This is very important to have the correct setting on phase 1 and 2. The key lifetimes also are very important to be correct. Checking the error log on both sides is very important when trouble shooting because you need to understand how far you are getting and where changes need to be made. What I mean by this is Phase 1 and Phase 2. If you see you have made it pass phase 1 you only need to focus on making changes in phase 2. If you dont see phase 1 connect only focus on phase 1. Hope this has been helpful!!
Phase 1===IKE Policy
Phase 2===VPN Policy
Thanks

I too am wondering if this is a possible combanation.
I would like to setup a site to site VPN from a Juniper SSG to a Cisco RV120W.
Has anyone been able to get this to work?

Site-to-site VPNs are technically possible between any hardware vendors. However, in my experience, if you miss even the smallest of settings, it won't work. Sometimes even if you have all the settings right, you may need to change the encoding methods (group or des, etc). I actually had an issue between two vendors where everything was setup right, but the encoding had to be changed to get it to work!
Some suggestions when setting up your link. First, make it simple. Don't try to make it secure, just try to get it to connect. Once you've accomplished that, then start putting things one-by-one that you want like better key, encoding method you want, etc. It can be very tedious, but remember that once you have it up, the hard work is done. Good luck!
