Hello all;
I am a home user with the RV220W router, and 2 x WAP4410Ns APs. I just learned about the Wireless Distribution System and the manuals are not very clear with explaining different options.
Now I understand the Router will be configured as the "master" and the APs will act as Peers to spread the wireless signal around.
I need to create 2 Wireless networks; 1 that's broadcasted and secured and the other thats not broadcasted, and filtered based on MAC address (Android devices are having a problem connecting to the secured account)
Now the 2 x WAP4410Ns are hardwired to the RV220w via an SG300-10MP POE switch;
Can someone walk me through the setup of the WAP4410Ns? I understand how to setup a normal AP with regards to SSID, passkey, and simple tasks; so that can be summarized for me.
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark. The years I have used those products, I could not make it work. Wds usually require like chipsets. The WAP321 workgroup bridge does work with Rv220W. If its possible I would exchange the WAP4410's for the 321's.

Thanks for the reply Tom;
There lies the problem, I've owned all of these for a while. All purchased at different times; so returning is not an option.
I am willing to give it a try; if it doesn't work...i'd fall back to original setup of independently configured access points, connected to the same network.
Thanks,
Mark
