Hello,
I have recently purchased a WRVS4400N with the main purpose of opening a VPN link to a clients network. I have had no success to this point an the support options for this product are impossible to track down.
The Linksys site bounces me to the Cisco site.. and the Cisco site has little or no information on the product.
These VPN issues seem to be VERY common as I can find a lot of questions on the internet, however, answers are few and far between.
Is there a proper guide on the use of Quick VPN and the setup of routers/gateways on both ends?
Where is the Linksys / Cisco support for this product and it's various software(s.)

Thanks for your purchase first of all.
We have a Small Business Support Center (S-TAC) available for support for 1 year from Date of Purchase.

Where is the QVPN Documentation?

OK. I found Appendix B. Which really doesn' explain much. I did everything in there already without reading the manual.
There is no explanation of error messages or why the software might not work.
The first error message recieved is:
Server's Certificate does not exist on your local computer. Do you want to quit this connection?
Upon selecting NO the software will hang on Verifying Network.

Error Received is:
Info
The remote gateway is not responding. Do you want to wait?

Not that it'll help you much; that's also where I end up whenever I've tried to make it work. And yes, there's alot of posts with people having problems and not really any that tells you how to fix it.

For the documentation shortcomings, I have escalated to the Product Team. In the meantime, please open cases with our S-TAC so they can help you resolve these issues.

Hi,
in the installation directory of the VPN-Client you can find some textfiles (wget*).
Maybe you can find a hind there.
Kind regards,
