Hi,

I'm trying to configure my BRI interface in "network protocol-emulate network" and "layer1-emulate network" but i don't have this second command.

Is someone have allready to that with this type of interface ?

I've to configure this because the ISDN line of my telco is in user mode only.

Could you please apply below command,

Router(config-if)# isdn protocol-emulate {user | network} ! Since you are using for user , enter user.

I can enter this command :

Router(config-if)# isdn protocol-emulate NETWORK

But it's only for the layers 2&3. My problem is with the layer 1.

I've tried to make a crossover cable but it doesn't work.

I've see in me research on the web that there was the command :

Router(config-if)# layer1-emulate network

but i think that it's only for VIC inerfaces and i've a WIC.

What are you trying to do? That card does NOT support voice.

It's to make a little WAN between to site and noly for DATA, not for voice.

And what would the architecure of the "little WAN" ?

Seems to be there is no practical use.
