I'm trying to enable a NM-ESW-16 on my 2610xm running IOS c2600-i-mz.122-8.T5.bin. During boot the module is seen but that's all. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 - Check logs on the switch
 - Use latest advisory software version , check if that can help ,

Thank you for the response, however the "switch" module doesn't show up & what is the "latest advisory software version"?

What feature set is your 2610 running? This discussion suggests that IP Base does not support while Plus may.

I am not sure of GD or MD. If you can get it I would think the most recent version would be the better choice: 26xx/c2600-ipbase-mz.124-25c.bin.
