2621XM router running ospf

Hello,

I have 2621XM router at my site. I got 3 , 2 Mbps links running on the same. I have bundled these 3 links with one common multilink.What I am observing is the router CPU hits upto 100%. every time i bring all these 3 links in production. Now I have kept one of these 3 links admin. shut. so the router is under control. but as soon as i enable the 3rd link. routers just goes wayward.It's cpu shoots upto 100 % and eventually it stops responding / functioning.

I can't find any valid reasin for this. but as i know 2621 router should support 3 , 2Mbps links.

I would be greatful if anyone can help me int his regards.

do you have CEF enabled (ip cef global command) ? Can you post your config ?

I am enclosing my config file.

Just ignore the rate limit command.This i have put in to put some load filters on fast-ethernet.

Hello,

I have a feeling this has something to do with the service policy on your multilink interface, can you try and remove it ?

Also, can you try and add the bandwidth command to all interfaces in the group, including the multilink interface itself ?

hi,

I will do that. meanwhile just one update. if i see the cpu proc. only IP Input is the one which is taking the max. cpu proc. and that also 6%. still my overall cpu utilization shows 95 - 100%

Any thoughts on this.
