2691 with 2 AIM ATM-4T1 making ima groups

Need help in placing all 6 ATM interfaces into one ima-group. The 2691 will only allow upto 4 vwics on AIM card, so I place 2 T1 controllers to the second AIM. When I goto place the last to intefaces into the ima-group I get the following error message: %AIM slot or Physical Type mismatch between AIM interface(s) and IMA group or existing IMA links, cannot add link.

Some help Please.

I haven't been able to confirm this, but I believe you are not going to be able to span the IMA group over two AIM modules. If I can track down documentation on this, I'll post it here. If you really need that many links, you should look on eBay to purchase the 8-port IMA network module (NM-8T1-IMA).
