I've got a 2811 that is powering down withing a minute of the fan speeding up. The user is reporting that the fan gets louder then all of the lights go off. I've spoken with the tech that installed this and the people at the location and the general concensus is that heat is not an issue, at least not the ambient temp in the router's immediate area.
Whenever this happens the router can be powered back on and works fine, if this was a heat issue I'd think that it wouldn't come back on right after that, at least not for long, and the user says that the fan is quiet when he powers back up, if it was still hot I'd think that the fan would still spin up and make some noise.
Anyone else seen this? Maybe a flaky temp sensor or something?

Have you put a console on the router when powering it up to see if there are any errors durring boot?
