Where can I find this IOS (c2800nm-adventerprisek9-mz.124-25b.bin) in TAR format? All I see is BIN.
I'd like to use Cisco Network Assistant to upgrade the IOS on our routers/voice gateways, but CNA requires IOS in TAR format.
I can't create a TAR file as the IOS doesn't have the "archive tar /create" option.

Hi
I dont konw where you can download the tar, but the .bin file is just a compressed version of the image file anyway, so you can download the .bin, unzip it and then tar it on a *Nix box or windows tool that can TAR it such as TAR for windows.

Hi Richard,
TAR file is usually used only for stacked devices like the 3750s, so you can issue the command once and it will load the IOS to all the devices in the stack and not for individual router or switch.
That is a strange C&A requirement.
Our C&A teams have no issues with bin files at all.
Thanks,
Reza
