2911 Router & service module SM-ES3-24-P

Can I install one Enhanced EtherSwitch Service Module SM-ES3-24-P into Cisco2911/K9 router? I looked through the Cisco site and findout that 2911 router support this module but some people told me that this module couldn't be installed into this router. Where is the truth?

Hi:

SM-ES3-24-P is supported on the 2911. Typically when SM-ES3-24-P is installed into a 2911 and the switch boots up there is post error for inline power and you will not be able to get poe device to start up.

using power supply PWR-2911-AC on router which is AC only will not work. In order to provide POE, you need to use power supply PWR-2911-POE.
