3560x limit bandwidth on a GigabitEthernet trunk port

Hello Everyone!!

I have a P2P link between 2 Offices (layer2 link)

3560x------3560x

I need to limit the bandwidth (we pay for 10Mbps), tried the commando below but users are still getting higher speeds

SW-CORE-01#sh run int g0/20
Building configuration...

Current configuration : 182 bytes
!
interface GigabitEthernet0/20
description UPLINK_SD
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport mode trunk
speed 100 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
srr-queue bandwidth limit 90 <<<<<<<<
mls qos vlan-based
end

I configured speed 100 and limit to 90%, so we should see a max bw of 10Mbps.. right ?

Local users sent these speedtest to us.... they can easly reach 15Mbps

Can you guys help me with that issue ?

Thanks in advance!!!

90% of 100 Mbps is 90 Mbps.  You want to set for 10% if you want to limit to 10 Mbps.

BTW, this command isn't exact.  I.e. you might find your bandwidth is more or less than 10 Mbps.

If you can, if you're limited to 10 Mbps logically, why not run the interface at 10 Mbps physically?
