3925E - Field Notice FN - 63723 - How to retrieve Fan Tray Serial Number from CLI

Hello Experts,

My customer has installed a bunch of 3925E routers, so far we've replaced 3 of them presumably because of FN - 63723. I've been able to corroborate it from the last replacement, since I had access to the faulty fan tray in order to check its serial number.

Now that we found the FN, we have many routers to verify if they are prone to the same issue with the fan tray, however, I've not been able to find a command to retrieve the SN of the fan tray from the CLI. Otherwise, we would need to shut those production routers down in order to check this. And that would really suck.

The image installed in most of them is c3900e-universalk9-mz.SPA.151-4.M6.bin.

FN - 63723:

BTW. I've SNMP walked the router, with no luck =(.

Thanks in advance for the help,

Pam

Try "sh inventory raw".

Nope, already tried that:
