3G connect with Failover

Hi2All

SP is proposing Wireless WAN for backup connectivity for existing Wired connection, i.e 3G connect for branch office connectivity. Recommended router is 1841. Can I get configuration assistance for 3G to act as failover for primary link. 3G connection would be over public network and need to establish ipsec gre tunnel. OSPF is dynamic routing protocol

Hi,

You require generic backup interface configuration with "backup commands" on the Cellular interface.

Pls refer the config guide below.

The above link gives backup DDR for Cellular interface as primary. But the same approach you can follow to configure the cellular as backup to a primary interface.
