7600 with S2T-10g-xl and ws-x6908-10g-2txl

Good morning,

We're looking at purchasing a 7604 or 7606 chassis and using S2T-10g-XL route processor and ws-x6908-10G-2TXL line card but I'm getting conflicting information online about whether the RP and line card are supported in the 7604 or 7606 chassis.

Can anyone please help clarify if this combination will work?

apart fro this, your question contains two different problem categories.

My response reading the datasheets would be

- yes the S2T-10g-XL route processor and ws-x6908-10G-2TXL line card can work together

- no this is not supported in the 7600 chassis

Thank you for the reply.  Yes, I was aware the RP and the line card would work together, but I wasn't 100% sure about the chassis.  Thanks for the clarification.
