827 as transparent bridge pppoe to ethernet

Hello,

I'm wondering if I can use an 827 router as a bridge between my isp (adsl) and my 2801 router. I'm wanting to have the 827 router do the pppoe connection to my isp but I want to do all of the nat on the 2801 router. Is this possible?

Yes it's possible. Note that is not true bridging if you terminate PPPoE on the 827, if you was to terminate PPPoE on the 2801, then yes the 827 would be a pure bridge.
