Hello Pat,

have you got a different VDSL modem that is able to synchronize?

VDSL performances are influenced by line conditions, the line may be too bad for it or there is a problem of interoperability with CO.

you should contact who is providing the VDSL service ( it not clear if it is a different company or a different group in your company)

Hope to help

Giuseppe

Hello Giuseppe,

have you got a different VDSL modem that is able to synchronize?----> No I Do not.

VDSL performances are influenced by line conditions, the line may be too bad for it or there is a problem of interoperability with CO.-----> This is fine i am les then .5km from the remote Co with VDSL E.Q

you should contact who is providing the VDSL service ( it not clear if it is a different company or a different group in your company)---->This is within the company i work in,so all the stasts for the LINE are fine.. i even brought my Router to the D-mark outside to see is it worked No luck..

This si how the ISP side is Configured for VDSL:

PTM encap = 64-65

Upbo = auto

band plan 998

U0 Band a-25-183

line code vdsl2

region = annex A

profile  p12a

trellis encoding and bit swapping are on.

card is a stigner VDSL2-IK-GEB

So th Question remains, does the Cisco 887VDSL need to have configuration with in the cisco for it Synch up???

Anybody have an answer to this by any chance.. ?
