I have a 2507 router with 16 port hubs, and my question is if I have five routers is there away to connect the five router console ports to the 2507 and be able to connect to each from the 2507 router. I thought this was possible and if so how do I setup the 2507 to allow this. Thanks

Friend,
If you are having Async Port adapter, 16 ports
then you can configure something like this
ip host router1 2001 172.16.102.25
ip host router2 2002 172.16.102.25
ip host router3 2003 172.16.102.25
ip host router4 2004 172.16.102.25
ip host router5 2005 172.16.102.25
int fa 0/0
ip address 172.16.102.25 255.255.255.0
you can log on to the 2507 and then use the hostnames to get the respective consoles
HTH, rate if it does

I don't understand completely and can you tell me if I have 16 ports Hubs I go into port or hub 1 and do what to assign this hub/port to the router one console and so on and so forth?
I need step-by-step because I'm very green like the grass we see outside, for now but learning every day. Thanks again

Hi Narayan
the router and lab are at another location and with no remote access.
