Hi cisco gurus.....

can anyone explain me what does the command

Active Backup interface means....

and how is it different from simple backup interface command.

Hello,

are you referring to the command:

backup active interface

? If so, this command is used in the context of X.25, in order to activate a dual serial line, one active and one backup.
