Hello,

This is my topology:

modem----->ASA5505 192.168.1..---->Router1841 10.0.0..---->switch2960----linksys wifi router 10.28.181...

1841 is just for license purpose since 5505 has only 10 users.

Linksys is also on different subnet.

Question is:

Does Amazon Alexa need any special permissions to run thru ASA?

Every time I connect Alexa to wifi, internet goes down.

After unplugging Alexa from power, everything is back to normal.

Is there something with security, multicast, or something?

Thank you

Luke

Hello,

Amazon Alexa/Echo nees the TCP/UDP ports below:

TCP: 67, 68, 80, 443, 8080, 40317

Can you even register your Alexa device (as described in the link below) ?

Thank you for the response.
This is just for testing purposes.
I will try to open those ports and see how it goes.
Thank you
