Alvarion ODU/IDU with Cisco routers

Hi,

I have a setup whereby vendor has provided WAN using wimax technology using Alvarion ODU/IDU and terminating using Vlans on both central and remote office. Problem is when i do "show cdp neighbors" i'm able to see several other company routers also. I usually have cdp run disabled but needed to know whether am able to see other routers in my WAN in this case which proved possible. In my leased lines, only routers am able to see are my end routers. What is the solution to this besides disabling cdp?

Hi,

seems like you're basically exposed to other clients traffic - not a nice thing.

Ask SP what can they do about it and if nothing, your best approach is configuring access-lists, although that may not be even sufficient provided that another customer can actually spoof your addresses.
