Hello,
I am experiencing an issue get a functional VPN connection (IKEv2 .. ProtonVPN) from my iOS 12.1 device (iPhone 7+) through my RV110W router. IPSec Passthrough is enabled. The connection works fine over cellular, and over a different WiFi connection. My service provider made a site visit today and established that he was able to get a successful connection through the router from his laptop. Their diagnosis is that there is an incompatibility between iOS 12 and the RV110W. They recommended that I ask you all for a possible configuration change to get them to play nice with one another. Anyone have an fix for this? I know Apple wrenched up some vpn things with iOS 12..
thanks -cb

Hello,
to start out with, why don't you use the Cisco AnyConnect App for IOS ?

When you try and connect through your ProtonVPN, how far do you actually get ? You might want to toggle between 'Aggressive' and 'Main' mode on the Cisco (page 104 of the attached user guide).
Can you post a screenshot of the IKE policy on your RV110W ?

According to the ProtonVPN app, I successfully connect (see screenshot). The problem is that I am unable to do anything. It behaves like a routing error or loop. Everything just spins and browser eventually says “server quit responding”.
In the router I do not have any IKEv2 policies. See screenshot..
