The entire concept of security contexts can be compared with dual/multiboot computers, where you can either partition your hard drive, or connect another hard drive, and boot different operating systems (Linux/Windows) on the same physical device. On the ASA, each context is basically an independent device, with its own security policy, interfaces, and administrators. Multiple contexts are similar to having multiple standalone devices. Keep in mind that certain features that so work in single context mode, do not work in multiple context mode.
