ASR 1001: Failed to access or process IDPROM 'power supply'

Hi out there - when my brandnew ASR boots it displays this on the console:

Feb  6 12:38:49.523: %CMRP-3-IDPROM_ACCESS: R0/0: cmand:  Failed to access or process IDPROM 'power supply': No such file or directory -Traceback= 1#f48cfa9a3b51548a4205051f9c4aa82a   errmsg:F6824000+FD4 :8048000+33769 :8048000+6759E :8048000+64BB6 evlib:F69EB000+B549 evlib:F69EB000+D827 :8048000+5BDE0 c:F6448000+16670 :8048000+15E51

well - I can see that there is a process which tries to read from probably r0/0 or power supply or whatever register it tries to read here - but it looks as an error to me - is this part of a normal startup sequence? is there some license, config or hw missing?

best regards /ti

Hi Tiwang,

I also got the same problem here.

*Mar  7 01:21:01.436: %CMRP-3-IDPROM_ACCESS: R0/0: cmand:  Failed to access or process IDPROM 'power supply': No such file or directory -Traceback= 1#1322c15bbc01efab6530a3545ec1fac7   errmsg:E634000+2250 :10000000+2D628 :10000000+5D2AC :10000000+5AB40 evlib:EA03000+E328 evlib:EA03000+104D4 :10000000+52810 c:DDB4000+1E938 c:DDB4000+1EAE0

several minutes later the router shutting down itself.

*Mar  7 01:22:53.806: %CMRP_PFU-3-PFU_SHUTDOWN: R0/0: cmand:  Shutting down system now because the PEM in slot 0 was removed and not replaced.

*Mar  7 01:22:53.963: %PMAN-3-PROCHOLDDOWN: R0/0: pman.sh:  The process cmand has been helddown (rc 71)

*Mar  7* Fri Mar  7 01:23:12 UTC 2014: %SYS-0-RELOAD_MSG: (7627): System did not reboot.  A power cycle is required.

* Fri Mar  7 01:23:12 UTC 2014: %SYS-0-RELOAD_MSG: (7627): Sleeping to allow drain before resetting

have you find a way to solve this case?

Regards,

Radit
