I need to know if the 10g throughput license is active or not, I didn't understand what means "Legacy License Info"...

Can you help me?

Thanks in advance

Yes but if I check the throughput, it displays 2.5Gb and not 10Gb:

RT01#show platform hardware throughput level
The current throughput level is 2500000 kb/s

What is needed to have 10Gb of throughput?

Try below : configuration to 10GB

config t
!
(config)#platform hardware throughput level 10000000

save and reload the device i guess.

then once Router come back : issue the command and check :

# show license feature | include Feature|throughput

These three lines are the most important ones.

hi leo,

if i upgrade my ASR1K from 16.9.x (non smart license) to 16.12.x (smart license enabled), will all the "permanent" license be retained and converted to "perpetual"?

is there a need to register the ASR1K to CSSM?

will the ASR1K feature/function retain even if it's not registered to CSSM?

@johnlloyd_13

I am unable to answer the questions because I made sure all our routers are on 16.9.X.

technically they should retain - but not tested. if they looking to move to smart License you need to convert them

if you are cautious I will take TAC suggestion.

hi,

what IOS-XE did you upgrade your ASR 1001-X?

did you "register" the device to CSSM?
