Hello All,
We have had an issue recently with a new 903 where the CPU was constantly at around 90-100%. It should be noted, he CPU went this high after we started migrating connections to it from our old core router, which ultimately caused us to rollback.
To give an idea of our environment, we have 2 ASR 903's across 2 datacentres - so 1 ASR per DC.
Both ASR's have 2 A900-RSP3C-400-S installed.
They are connected by 2 point to point links which we have bundled together using LACP.
One datacentre is already running the 903 with no issues.
They are both on the same SW version - 16.9.4.
We tried a reboot on the 903 but that didnt resolve the issue.
When the CPU was high, we ran a 'show process cpu platform sorted' and seen it was uea_mgr which was consuming all the CPU. Does anyone know what this process does? and why it would be so high?
It was causing severe packet loss and latency on the connections we moved over to it. So ultimately rolled back.
Once we removed the connections the CPU eventually settled back to normal.
Our configuration consists of VRRP/BGP/BDI's/Bridge Domains/QoS/Service Instances.
