Is there any difficulties in upgrading ASR from 2.6 to 3.1 version? I mean is there necessary to use any additional licenses in 3.1 if router worked correct with 2.6?
I cannot answer with respect to the licences, but in terms of the actual upgrade procedure InService Software Upgrade (ISSU) is NOT supported between IOS-XE 2.6 and 3.1.
When you upgrade from 2.6 to IOS-XE 3.1 the router will need to be reloaded.
