ASR1001-X with IOS XE 3S - doesn´t allow BGP address-family vpnv4.

Hello,

I have a new MPLS Route Reflector to configure in an ASR1001-X and I need to add the address-family vpnv4 under bgp but I don´t have that command available.  Do you know why?  Do I need to activate any additional feature or license to have it?

Thanks in advance!

I see you have ipbase license level installed. You might have to select the license level as advipservices license level.

I dont think vpnv4 is supported in ipbase license level. Even for the EvalRightToUse license, It is not in use as you might have not accepted the EULA agreement.

Please follow the below CCO document to accept the right to use.

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/asr1000/configuration/guide/chassis/asrswcfg/csa_rtu.html

Hope this helps.

Hi Vinit,

thank you!  I applied:

 conf t

   license boot level advipservices

reload

conf t

 license accept end user agreement

And now I was able to add the vpnv4 address-family

Now, I am trying to see if I need to permanently activate the licenses (I don´t want to have it expired in some months).
