Memory usage is short on my A9K-RSP-4G however I just noticed only 2G out of 4G is really available !
Physical Memory: 4096M total (452M available)
Application Memory : 3904M (452M available)
Image: 62M (bootram: 62M)
Reserved: 128M, IOMem: 2028M, flashfsys: 0
Total shared window: 155M
IOMem : IO memory Currently used as a backup for packet memory.
What is this exactly?
Is that possible to disable this "backup" memory and use 4G for the system?

The IOMEM is the chunk of DRAM memory dedicated to network modules/interfaces I/O.
The percentage of DRAM allocated to IOMEM can be adjusted using "memory-size iomem" commands and this works in global configuration mode.
Smart init is a tool that calculates IOMEM at boot time automatically. Smart init is disabled when "memory-size iomem" is configured.
please refer to the datasheet of the device to verify the compatability of the command and detail.
