I want to send multicast streams from our production environment to another company site with two ASR902 with RSP2-64 processor.
Both routers are configured with IP pim sparse-mode with the closest multicast router to sources as the RP, OSPF as routing protocol and everything is peachy. I have a full mroute table, I've debugged IGMP, PIM etc... and everything looks fine. But whenever you join any multicast group, stream is filled with Macro blocks, pixelation and extremly distorted audio(Packet drops right? well..) Even configuring a laptop on one of the ASR902 interface with sparse-mode, stream is unwatchable. TSreader shows CCerror counter increasing exponentially. This test was done on the router that acts as GW/L3 for multicast sources.
Oh, the expected BW from these streams ranges from 600K to 5M and are being received as double the amount.
I;ve search for any bugs related to multicast with this platform and haven't found any.
IOS XE version is 17.06.05
