Hi everyone,

Currently I am running 2 routers (routerA and routerB) which connected to a Nexus switch and using static routes.

Manual add

ip route 192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.123.2 (If routerB down)

or

ip route 192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.144.2 (if routerA down).

 routing

Is there anyway I can using tracking methodology to perform the auto failover to each other?

IP SLA is the common way to track static routes.

Or use a dynamic routing between the devices and then no need for configuring tracking.

Thanks Jon, I will try the track on static route with ip sla first.

You can create IP SLA and then creat a track object call the ip sla in the track object . then add the track object in ip route command.
