Autoconfig cisco 1100 from usb

Hi

I have to put in config on about 150 cisco C1100-8P and wonder if anyone has tried to autoload config from usb?

I found this article: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/access/1100/software/configuration/xe-16-6/cisco_1100_series_swcfg_xe_16_6_x/cisco_1100_series_swcfg_chapter_01000.html

and it states that a file named isr1100.cfg on a memorystick can be loaded on new boxes.

But I cannot make this work. I´ve treid different formats. Included 'en' and 'conf t' but the box always come up with:

'would you like to enter the initial configuration dialog?'

    - Normally you can't load a config from (external) USB, only from flash. So a minimum setup will be needed.
