Backup link.

I try to configure backup link with rtr and route-map but the command "set ip next-hop verify-availability a.b.c.d track 100" is not supported by the router.

Is there another method to set backup link with rtr or another protocol?

Dont know what router you are using, as well as the software version/feature set. Can you shed more light on how the topology is.

Please, i have 4 routers .one router on distribution layer and 3 router on core network which are used to link to 3 isp.

i want to configure routing policy base on address class on my local network, and automatical try another route if one isp goes down.

each router is 2600 with 12.1 ios version.

Any suggest will be appreciate.

As Sankar says knowing the specifics of IOS version and feature set are crucial in determining whether this feature is supported. The feature of route tracking that you are trying to use is new enough that I suspect that there are very few versions in 12.1 that would have support for this feature. If you want to use this feature you may need to update the IOS on your routers.
