Hi All,
My new enquiry has to do with bandwidth allocation.
My scenario is as follows:
I am situated at the main site.
My router is connected to other routers-sites, site A and site B. The connections are 256 Kbps and 2Mbps.
My main site router is also connected to my ISP with a 512 Kbps line for internet access.
I would like to be able to give limited access to the internet for sites A and B, such as 128 Kbps for Site a and 128 Kbps for site B.
My question is:
I am aware that i should use CAR but i cannto find a good source of info and examples about it.
Furthermore, i am wondering where the configuration should be: onlhy on my main router and on which interface? the incoming 512Kbps from my ISP, or on all subinterfaces for each site, A and B. Also, should the ISP have any similar configurations ???
Can u please help???
I am attaching a diagram of how the network looks like.
Also, please note that i am connecting ATM-ATM for my 512 Kbps internet access, and ATM to FR for sites A and site B
I hope i explained well what my problem is .
Pleae let me know if u need more clarification
Thanks,
George.
