Best BGP route is not installed into RIB

Hi all,

When I show BGP route of the specific Internet route on my router, I observed 2 available paths with entry /24.

So the path with higher local-preference is best-path.

However, this BGP best path is not installed in RIB on this router. The best route is entry /23 following BGP path with lower local-preference when I show BGP route.

Routing entry for x.x.x.0/23
Known via "bgp yyyy", distance 200, metric 0

Number of pic paths 1 , type internal

Can anybody suggest me the potential cause of this problem?

Can you post the "sh ip bgp" for the /23 and both /24s.

Unfortunately, this problem was resolved. I have still not known this cause.

Sorry, I have confused about this problem.

Best path BGP and RIB is the same but BGP best path in BGP-RIB was different from BGP best path in RIB.

Please refer attached output.
