Hi all
I have 2 sites with 2 links betwee them, there are gre tunnels configured between both pairs of routers. We have a requirement where we want to load balance the traffic over both routers, but only have specific host ips going over each etc. these routers then connect to a core switch on each end.
What is the best way of doing this, I don't really want to run eigrp on the core only the wan routers.
Would I need to redistribute statics with different metrics?
What's the best solution for this?

Do you have to do it with specific protocols?
This load balance with specific hosts is for source or destination?
You can achieve it in many ways, depending on what you want you have a better scenario, PBR is the most used for that tough.

if there are 2 routers. from the core I was going to use hsrp, route to the active one, then this will decide using eigrp whether to go over its own wan connection or the other wan router, I will have to do this as I dont want to run eigrp on the core
hwo does this sound ?
