BGP Dynamic Neighbors deeper understanding

I'm looking to use BGPs Dynamic Neighbors technology but I don't see any RFC's related to it.  On Cisco's site they describe how to use it in an example but I wanted to see the related RFC.  Is there a RFC that is related to this and is what Cisco used to incorporate this into their BGP implementation?

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/iproute_bgp/configuration/xe-3sg/irg-xe-3sg-book/irg-dynamic-neighbor.html

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I believe this feature was introduced by Cisco and there is no RFC for that at this time I am writing this. There are many protocols and features which do not have any RFCs. For example, EIGRP has been around for a long time, but Cisco has released it as an RFC recently.

Check the RFC for EIGRP.  It was released in 2016.
