I have a mainly Nortel Network (Sorry) I am need of a BGP router and the only Nortel product is an 8600 Passport. I am way more comfortable with Cisco and would like to look at the most cost effective model that will work with my existing Nortel equipment. The only need I have is that I have Gig E capability and need 256MB DRAM.

Check the cisco site to match up your requirements. As long as the image contains the BGP protocol, your good to go.
