Boot problems

Hi everybody!

I have a problems with Cisco 2621. It unable to start IOS. After IOS image decompression it hangs without any messages. But if I press Enter key, strange message displayed:

I have no problems with ROMMON and upgrading IOS image via tftpdnld. I tried to use different IOS images, but without success.

weird indeed, I cannot find any information about that error either. I assume you have verified that you have sufficient flash and DRAM for the IOS you are trying to load ?

I wonder if the error has anything to do with you hitting , are you using Hyperterminal ? If so, you might want to try and upgrade to version 6.3:

HyperTerminal Private Edition version 6.3

Of course there is always a chance that you have a hardware problem (bad flash or DRAM memory, bad memory slot, etc.). Are you in a psoition to exchange the flash and/or DRAM memory and see if that makes a difference ?
