Broadcast message on a cisco router

Folks,

Does someone remember the command to send a message to other people logged into the cisco router at the same time???

In privilege mode use the command send. The send command has a parameter for who to send to, one of the options is * which the online help indicates is all tty lines but when I do send * it also sends to the vty lines.
